Celebrating the Extraordinary in the Ordinary - Everyday!
Falling Forward...
Well, I must admit, I had planned on writing to you again much sooner
that this. But, as we know, Covid took place and many plans that were
made, got changed or canceled. And I'm sure like many of you, I had
family home for months when they normally would be gone (in my family's
case, in high school and college.) We had days filled with on-line
classes, quick lunches and long dinners. Things are somewhat back to
normal now (if we can say that) and I am finally back into my paints!
My temporary oil painting studio aka the breakfast room!

My biggest news is that I am renovating my studio! When we moved into
our house, my studio (the room above the garage) was never finished and
I've been using a hodge podge of old furniture and folding tables! It
has worked fine but it's been so exciting to paint the walls and pick
out some nice flooring (that's still durable to hold up to creative
work!) I will have four main areas in the room: (1) a retail/finished
art area, (2) my oil painting easel with a still life set up and supply
cart , (3) the acrylic and mixed media table (where the super messy
stuff happens) and (4) a small efficient office/mailing center.
The evening view from my upstairs studio - can't wait to get it done to
show you!

show you!
While I had hoped to show you more, it's still a little too messy for a
tour! I've put floors and baseboards on hold while I focus on the busy
season of Fall and Christmas - and getting art orders out in time for
Christmas.
Next week, look for an Art Alert where I'll show you a few available
giftable items from both my fine art line as well as my Found Blessings
shop! In the meantime, stay well - and may you be blessed with a
beautiful Fall!
